Safe Re-opening of Church and Resuming of Services

Please see the notice from the Minister and Session Clerk

Dear Friends

After lots of planning behind the scenes we have been granted permission to re-open the church for services.

It gives us great pleasure to confirm that worship will resume at Trinity Church on Sunday 20th September at 11am. There will be some changes to comply with safety precautions.

Some pews will be closed to allow for distancing, there will be hand-sanitising stations before entering the sanctuary, and the congregation must wear masks inside the church. We will also ask for your name and phone number for test and trace. Volunteers will be on hand to offer guidance.

As of Sunday September 20th, 2020

Services will be at 11am on Sundays. There will be no tea and coffee served after the morning service. However, if you are a visitor please do make yourself known to us. We would love to meet you.

The mid-week gathering at 11:15 am on a Thursday will begin again on Thursday September 24th.

Please see the order of service for our final online service this Thursday September 17th

There is still to be a decision about an evening service at 6.30 pm on the first Sunday of the month.

The churches in Rothesay may start again to hold joint evening services from time to time. These are usually at 5.30pm

This is celebrated on the first Sunday of February, June and November. In addition a number of informal communion services are held throughout the year at the close of the morning services.

Sunday school meets on Sundays during the morning service. There is also a crèche available.

Because we know that God loves everyone we are keen to make everything we do accessable to all.

The morning services are recorded for the housebound and others who are unable to come on Sunday mornings. We provide transport to and from our morning service. If you would like a lift please email us.

For those with a hearing aid, the loop systems are in operation during all our services.

We are also happy to supply the hymns and readings in large print if that helps.
